I want to ask you a question, maybe the most common question that is asked!
What are you waiting for?
There are many actions, dreams and initiatives we want to take but for some reason, we often wait for the right time.
One thing I know for sure: if we wait, the things we want to achieve will never come to us!
This is because the irrefutable principle is that dreams, events, and goals move toward us only when we stop waiting and start moving!
The motion leads to action and action attracts what we need to make our initiatives a great hit!
For those waiting I want to reveal what they are waiting for: NOTHING!
Therefore let us stop waiting and intentionally start moving and everything we need will move toward us!
Today, stop waiting and start moving toward the dream and vision you have received!
Today leads you closer or farther from your goals and it all depends on your willingness to take the first step!
The word for today is equipping!
All true leaders have as their main objective to strengthen their disciples.
The pseudo-leaders, on the contrary, suffer from an insecurity syndrome that keeps them from boosting, equipping and investing in others.
These pseudo-leaders will never achieve true success because their insecurity leads them to think only of their own interests.
Safe leaders, that is, the true ones, strongly want the success of their disciples and followers and want them to become even better than them. The target lies in the famous saying: the disciple surpasses the master!
I also want to add that the true leader experiences a personal failure if he does not see those whom he leads and mentors, being able to reaching goals that he has failed to reach!
My frequent question is whether those whom I am enhancing with my resources, talents and guidance are turning on the blinker to surpass me.
If the answer is yes, then and only then can I consider my investment as a personal success.
If the upkeep of those who follow us and learn from us becomes the main goal then we will make a big difference in this world.
Finally, in enhancing those who follow us, we will see a concrete increase in our mission and vision!
The word for today is fake!
There is an expression that says “let’s fake it until we make it.”
Many people fake it so much to believe that which they are not.
In doing so they believe others perceive them for what they are not.
What is the benefit to think of ourselves that which we are not?
There comes the moment of truth, and for many this dreaded moment becomes devastating!
Being honest with yourself is the beginning of true success.
Understand who we are and where we want to go is the first step.
The second step is to improve in those areas where we pretend not to be improving.
Finally we enjoy the peace and knowledge of being ourselves and no faking anymore.
Our faking does not displace our opponents but, instead, leads us into a wrong path, to a street full of illusions and therefore, defeats.
There is no defeat worse than that of an idol pursued strongly that reveals itself to be only a mirage when you think you have finally achieved it!
When Jesus said: COME TO ME ALL OF YOU THAT ARE TIRED AND HEAVY LEADEN , he was addressing also those who were tired of pretending and faking it!
He wanted to assure them that they would be accepted as they were, without the need of fictions.
To those who are honest with themselves and their shortcomings, Jesus promises a bright future, because he is now able to lead them into the right path already planned and designed for them!
The one who fakes it, procrastinates his time because he does not want to work to improve!
He accepts his mediocrity, hidden by his fiction, as a reality.
For many, this life is a fiction, for a few, instead, is a beautiful reality!
This week let’s stop pretending and faking it, and let’s work to improve ourselves in order to achieve those successes for which we were created!
The word for today is turbulence !
42 years have passed since my first flight. Sometimes I have experienced turbulence that has put my trust in traveling on air under fire.
The worst turbulence I experienced was when flying on the Atlantic Ocean l, without warning, the plane seemed to be suddenly falling free. So I immediately put on my seat belt and asked myself if the plane was able to overcome that sudden and devastating turbulence.
Since I’m describing what happened, it is clear that the plane had surpassed the turbulence and so my confidence in traveling by air has grown a lot.
Life puts in front of us so many unexpected turbulences. Let’s not lose heart, but let’s strive to find out what we are able to overcome.
In the turbulence our qualities come out, and self-esteem and confidence grow with the awareness of knowing what we are capable of enduring and overcoming.
So let us embrace our turbulences, knowing we have so much potential that we often do not know we have!
The word for today is options!
Many think there is an answer to the challenges that they face in life.
The majority thinks there is only one answer to our questions and therefore do not believe in the several available options that we have and that offer many ways to solve our problems.
We have indeed many options and more opportunities to find the right solution!
When there were no GPS I ventured myself into the chaotic traffic of Rome and tried different routes to reach the same destination. So if I got stuck in traffic I always had another option to use to prevent me being blocked.
Let’s not stop at a single choice to reach our goals but strive to find multiple solutions and if possible new options to find the right solution for us. So if fail we always have another option to try to reach a successful solution.
Options increase our hope of reaching the goals we have set for ourselves!
Never forget that ” we have been created to create” and finding options unleash our creativity!
