Family!

Not Without My Family!
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” 1 Timothy 5:8
Every day parents and spouses leave their families in the pursuit of success.
It’s almost as though they’re driving down the road, and they get pretty far along before they realize they’ve left members of their family behind.
The tragedy is that many value their careers, success, or personal happiness more than their families. They decide that it’s too much work to go back, so they just keep driving.
But what many are now realizing is that the hope of happiness at the expense of breaking up a family is an illusion.
You can’t give up your marriage or neglect your children and gain true success. As Nick Stinnet asserted more than a decade ago, “When you have a strong family life, you receive the message that you are loved, cared for and important. The positive intake of love, affection, and respect . . . gives you inner resources to deal with life more successfully.”
What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his own family?
It is like multiplying a number, even a big one , to zero: the result will always be ZERO!

Laughter!

The word for today is laughter !
People who know me know that I’m a cheerful person who laughs almost always and that I am not afraid to laugh at myself!
Laughing at our defects and our individual nuances makes it all right! If we do not, all those who know us certainly do it all the time, probably behind our shoulders!
The important thing is not to laugh at the vision and mission we have received. The call we received is a very serious thing!
Psychology teaches that laughing is good for life because it helps keeping the pressure that daily challenges bring on us.
So let’s rejoice, and then I say again : Rejoice because it is good for our lives!

Commitment!

When you make a commitment, you create hope. When you keep a commitment you build trust! ”
Making a commitment, giving our word to act for an initiative that we feel being right, it is easy.
The difficult part begins when we determine to  complete our commitment with discipline until we reach our goal!
People do not look at what we say but the actions we take to gain their trust.
Everyone creates hopes but few build trust!

Trust is the only component that  adds value and  a long-lasting significance to our commitment!

A Reflection for you!

I am a good leader when I do not let my circumstances determine my attitude.
In fact, my attitude is the initial component that determines more than anything else a success or a defeat!
Elevate today your gaze  over the obstacles before you  and proceed with determination and discipline to achieve your goals, aware of your potential and your value!
Attitude is your best friend but can also become your worst enemy!

The true meaning of Easter!

Our life is full of conflicting events and emotions.
There is the joy of victory and the agony of defeat.
There is the consciousness of being appreciated but also the consciousness of being ignored.
There is the satisfaction of justice but also the bitter wound of injustice.
There is the thrill of being loved but also the disappointment of being rejected.
There is the darkness of the night but also the light of day.
There is health but also sickness.
There is the full taste of life but also the hurt of death.
There is the hope of Christmas but also the harsh reality of Calvary.
Thank God for Easter which completes the list of opposites.
There is death and the Via Dolorosa of Good Friday, but there is the resurrection of Easter which proves that in Jesus we have eternal life!
The empty tomb is the proof but also the martyrdom of hundreds of witnesses of the resurrection who faced death with the belief that there is a resurrection, just as Jesus was preaching and has historically shown!
With the apostle Paul, we can then say: “Death, where is your strength”?
In a world where relativism and the center take the place of opposites and absolute, Easter reminds us that those who do not believe are lost, but those who believe even if dead will live!
Happy Easter!

A reflection for you!

Leadership is developed daily, not in a day.
The secret to becoming a great leader lies in our daily agenda!
Give priority to what’s important and not to what’s urgent!
The most important things to do are designed by our priorities!
List your priorities and keep in mind that not all urgent things are important and not all the important things are urgent!
Remember, PREPARING  is always better than REPAIRING!
Often you have to trade what’s good to grasp what is excellent.
Good is the worst enemy of excellence.
Let go of the ordinary and aim  to the EXTRAORDINARY!

Enthusiasm!

The word for today is enthusiasm!
This word comes from the greek and consists of two concepts: en, meaning in, and theos meaning God.
Literally the word means HAVE GOD IN YOU!
Over time, the person WITH ENTHUSIASM is always positive, joyful, self-confident! This is because he believes in a destiny that leads to success.
This attitude does not always last long because often what we thought was a success turns out to be short-lived and not sustainable. In other words, the enthusiastic person believes to be God, master of its own destiny, but when the defeat comes all these premises are put into crisis and, perhaps for this reason, enthusiastic people turn out, over time, in people who are depressed and lacking in initiative .
That is why they are described as “romantic” in the sense that they depend for their enthusiasm on their emotions, and emotions, unfortunately, often change!
The real excitement is acquired when a person is in line with his creator who has a perfect plan for his life.
This alignment produces not a feeling or an emotion but a CONVICTION to be in the right path, the path marked out for us by the One who created us and who has a personal mission for all of us.
We are not an accident but an entity with a unique purpose.
This principle is the root of our enthusiasm and it is not an ephemeral one but a lasting one!
To have enthusiasm, we must always ask ourselves if God lives in us and if He is the one who is leading our lives.
The Apostle Paul, one of the greatest historical leaders, said that Jesus is in us is the hope of glory (POWER).
He stated that with Jesus we are more than conquerors!
Paul reaches the maximum when he says IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVES BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME!
Take back the enthusiasm that has left many of us in MEDIOCRITY and anonymity and remove from the throne of your life the EGO replacing it with GOD!
I wish you an exciting day FULL OF ENTHUSIASM!
